Supporting Colorado Seniors: A Commitment to Affordable Housing and Healthcare

Colorado has long been a remarkable state, built and sustained by the dedicated efforts of its senior citizens. These men and women laid the foundations of our communities, raised families, and contributed tirelessly to Colorado’s growth. Unfortunately, their contributions are often overlooked by current leadership.

Our seniors face significant challenges today, including escalating housing costs and soaring healthcare expenses. The existing systems have made it increasingly difficult for them to age comfortably in their own homes, compromising their dignity and security.

Recognizing these issues, a commitment has been made to prioritize the needs of Colorado’s seniors. Efforts will focus on helping them remain in their homes, lowering healthcare costs, and expanding access to home-based care. The goal is to restore the stability and respect that seniors rightfully deserve after years of hard work.

No senior should be forced to choose between affording their medications or buying groceries, nor should anyone face the fear of losing the home they have built over decades. Colorado has the capacity to improve these conditions, moving beyond slogans to take meaningful action.
